Tara Smith is a professor of philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin, where she has taught since 1989. Author of six books, Smith specializes in moral and legal philosophy. Her subjects range from everyday justice, pride, friendship, and the value of sport to the Fourth Amendment (privacy), the First Amendment, and judicial review.
