Are you looking to get more involved in the League this year? Do you believe that informed citizens make a stronger democracy? Do you like creating or presenting engaging, informative content? Then LWVAA's new Speakers Bureau just might be the place for you!
Could the Speakers Bureau be your "sweet spot" in the League? Join us on Zoom at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, to learn more (Zoom link provided upon registration).

The goals of the Speakers Bureau are to
- Educate and inform the public about voting and voting related issues
- Increase public understanding of the League and its mission
- Build relationships with community organizations
The Speakers Bureau team is already busy creating a repository of audience-ready presentations and has begun training speakers. If public speaking isn't for you, there are plenty of opportunities to work behind the scenes! In addition to speakers, we need volunteers who can
- Mentor and train speakers
- Review and update current presentations and create new ones
- Create graphics and slide decks
- Do fact-checking and research
- Help schedule speakers and presentations
