District 3 City Council Candidate Forum
About this event
Get ready to vote in the Austin City Council Elections!
What should growth deliver for the people who already call District 3 home? Join the League of Women Voters of the Austin Area for a nonpartisan forum with the district’s City Council candidates. Planned questions explore housing affordability and displacement, transit access and pedestrian safety, redevelopment, and opportunities for local small businesses. The discussion will also touch on city budget priorities and everyday neighborhood concerns, including parks, infrastructure, public safety, and homelessness. Make time to hear how the candidates would approach these choices—and how they would involve you in making them.
Can't make it in person? No problem! Every candidate forum will be aired live on ATXN and KAZI FM 88.7. Recordings of the panels will also be posted after the event on ATXN’s YouTube channel and linked on the Travis County Voter Info site.
Registration isn't required, but your RSVP will help us plan. If you need assistance with registration, please email Joyce Jackson.
